SCHOOL SPORTS ON A CEMENT FLOOR

SRJK Bukit Jalil school had their sports day on a cement floor approximately the size of a badminton court. How to produce Champions if this is the state of sports in schools, where the school fields are taken away. Watch Malaysiakini video here .

Can someone from the Education Ministry look into this. What are the MIC leaders doing about the situation ?

  1. What is all the big talks on "One Child One Sport" ? How can these Tamil Boys & Girls compete with those students who can exercise on a large field. Tell the MIC leaders to send their children to this school and suggest DPM to send Atheletes to be trained on this cemented floor.

  3. No wonder no more Indian Champions anymore in this country, because Indian Schools are neglected by the Govt and Sports Ministry. Mana ada program for Indian Schools. Instead of reporting some crab about Malaysian football that is going no where why don't main stream media do fact finding about sports facilities in schools esp Indian Schools where majority are poor kids. Do something man !

  4. I visited this school yesterday and saw a piece of unoccupied land just next to the school and it is large enough for children to do a 50 meters run. According to residents it is already vacanted many years. They have leveled it last year but have not got any permission to use it for the school beacuse Datuk Saravanan does not wish to share with them the project that is going to take place on the land where the Tamil School is currently situated.

  5. Tat's wat is call cakap x sama bikin. One thing for sure...dbkl shud replace what they have taken (building of the ppr flats) and they shud be taken to task for failing to do so. If they are not willing to do so...the minister concern shud & must look into the school problems n not juz wait until only near the next GE to act. "Rakyat Didahulukan. Pencapaian Diutamakan".
