BFM 89.9 WHAT ABOUT HELPING MALAYSIAN SPORTS ?

Tommorrow Malaysian football fans will witness a change in the landscape of Malaysian radio, when the Barclays Premier League Season 09/10 hits the airwaves LIVE for the very first time, only on BFM89.9.

With made‐for‐radio commentary LIVE from the UK for all weekend matches, and original local programming supporting the live matches, BFM89.9 are delivering ‘Football Anywhere’ for Malaysian fans, bringing not only the best football league in the world to their listeners, but also introducing a new advent in sports radio programming.

BFM’s local content delivery will focus on the latest Premier League news, hot off the press with exclusive interviews direct to the UK, opportunities for fans to have their say, prematch predictions, energetic and lively discussions, debates and lots of humour!

Extensive fan interaction with an enthusiastic and knowledgeable team of presenters provide Malaysian football fans the opportunity to communicate their opinions and predictions on arguably the most well‐known and widely supported football league in the world today.

My question is, why cant BFM help Malaysian Sports as well, can BFM spare 15 minutes of its air time, to talk about local sports. Afterall we produce and have top athletes such as Nicol David and Lee Chong Wei.

There is to much of English Football being broadcasted in the country, maybe BFM can do something for local sports as well.

Congratulations to former AFC Communications Director Claire Kenny who played an important role in getting these done through her company called Sports Cast Sdn Bhd which is a sports media and marketing company.
