PUMA LAUNCHES PWRCOOL COLLECTION WITH COOLING TECHNOLOGY

PUMAunveiled PWRCOOL, a cooling technology designed to keep the body at an optimal temperature to preserve energy.PWRCOOL is incorporated into a complete collection of thermo-regulated apparel and footwear.

PWRCOOL footwear products feature a ComfortTemptongue liner to regulate body temperature. The apparelis complete with PWRCOOL cooling print on the inside that activates with moisture. PUMA PUSHES YOU TO TRAIN FOR FASTER THIS AUTUMN-WINTER ‘15

PUMA has launched its second major Forever Faster brand campaign through a multi-million euro media investment with a dedicated focus on Training. Offering up the question “What are you training for?” the global sports brand challenges individuals and teams to put more energy into training and more positivity back into sport.

PUMA’s take on training is that it’s not an end goal but rather a means to a more positive self and a stronger game. The more energy you put in, the more you get back. PUMA Training swaps excuses for endorphins and aims to be faster, stronger, fiercer. No matter what.

Bringing the campaign to life are the unique training stories documented on film of PUMA’s elite ambassadors – World’s Fastest Man Usain Bolt, multi-platinum recording artist Rihanna, star striker Sergio Agüero, Arsenal Football Club, the Cuban National Boxing team, and more. Shot over the course of four weeks, the film series offers a sneak peak into the training regimen these individuals undergo to make sure they are on top of their game. PUMA Reveals Superlight Evolution of its evoSPEED Football Boot

Light and fast have become lighter and faster with the introduction of PUMA’s innovative football boot, the evoSPEED SL. The newly revealed boot is PUMA’s the lightest match boot to date, designed to give footballers a new game advantage enhancing speed and agility. Some of the world’s best players including Sergio Agüero, Marco Reus, Radamel Falcao, Marco Verratti, Antoine Griezmann and many more will wear the boot from now on.

The majority of the radical weight reduction was achieved through the usage of a super light, almost translucent textile upper material.  Whilst maintaining the necessary stability, the low weight PUMA SPEEDFRAME adds to the overall lightweight theme of the evoSPEED SL. Further essential support is given through a minimalistic heel counter, which provides the foot with a snug fit in the boot.

The traction studs support the players’ forward acceleration and enable better ground penetration. Combined with the five conical studs that are placed in the fore front and medial back end of the boot, change of direction and quick turns are radically improved. The outsole features the raised PUMA SPEEDTRACK spine that further supports torsion when dribbling around opponents.

The launch colour of the evoSPEED SL is lava blast, a bright red pantone that was exclusively created for PUMA.

Sergio Agüero said about his new boots, “I am still amazed with how light these boots actually are. When the box with the boots was delivered to my house a few weeks ago for the first time, I thought the box was empty. This boot is a real step forward and PUMA has done a really impressive job creating it.”

Marco Reus commented, “This new boot is a real change to what we have been wearing before, it actually looks and feels like a totally new product. They are so light, you can almost not feel them, and still I feel they give me exactly that support I need to have from a boot. This is a whole new direction of boot design.”

FÀBREGAS & BALOTELLI RETURN TO ACTION IN THE NEW evoPOWER 1.2 COLOURWAY

As the European clubs return to pre-season training, PUMA today introduced the latest evoPOWER 1.2 football boot with a complete new look. Fully relaxed after their summer break, PUMA players Cesc Fàbregas and Mario Balotelli will present their new boots to the world in white, total eclipse and lava blast when they step back into action. Many other stars including Olivier Giroud, Gianluigi Buffon and Dante will wear the new boots to add maximum power and accuracy to their game.

Taking its inspiration from the movement of a barefoot, the boot allows for a natural foot mechanical movement, providing maximum flexibility which has an enhanced impact on shooting and kicking power. The boot’s lightweight and super soft upper material stretches in a longitudinal not lateral direction providing freedom of movement while maintaining support. The evoPOWER 1.2 outsole features a spine that delivers stability from the heel to the forefoot and enables the foot to bend like a barefoot at the same time.

In addition to power, the boot impresses through accuracy, which is once again improved with the GripTex print that runs across the full length of the upper, designed to enhance ball control in all weather conditions. Added shooting and passing precision is created through the lightweight AccuFoam lining that provides a clean kicking surface.

Cesc Fàbregas said about his new boots, "I am looking forward to returning back to the pitch after a great summer holiday. The new colourway of the evoPOWER 1.2 boot will be available in-store and on puma.com from today. A full colour aligned collection including training apparel and accessories, shin pads and balls will also be available to purchase from now.

PUMA & BORUSSIA DORTMUND LAUNCH 2015/16 HOME SHIRT

PUMA and Borussia Dortmund have today launched the new home kit for the 2015/16 season through a documentary video, which shows the importance of the shirt to both the players and the fans. Alongside some of the club’s first team players including PUMA star Marco Reus, fans can take on an interactive role and become part of the video through a Facebook app ‘My Personal Clip’, which allows fans to upload their photo and create their very own version of the BVB home shirt film.

The new Home shirt combines the long-standing tradition of the club with a refreshingly new look. Featuring black, horizontally placed pin stripes, the mostly yellow shirt strikes a lot attention. Black inserts along the sleeves and the v-neck collar complement the overall look of the new home kit. Inside the shirt, fans and players can find the rules of the ‘BVB Leistungsversprechen’, which is a traditional club vow promising to always strive to the maximum of performance.

Made with high-quality polyester fabrics, the new home shirt is extremely breathable and provides optimum heat transfer when performing on pitch. On each side of the shirt below the armpits, mesh inserts featuring PUMA’s dryCELL technology help to transport heat and moist towards the outside.

Dortmund star striker Marco Reus said, “With pre-season training starting again, excitement for the new season is really building up. I really look forward to stepping again onto the pitch at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK, seeing all those black-yellow fans. 2015/16 PUMA ARSENAL HOME KIT NOW ON SALE

The new 2015/16 Arsenal home kit goes on sale today both online and in stores around the world. Featuring Arsenal’s traditional home colours applied with a modern approach to materials and a formal silhouette, this new playing kit will be seen on pitch for the first time in July during pre-season. 

The new Arsenal home shirt features a grandad collar and gold piping trim around the collar edge, the colour staying true to The Gunners' classic red and white strip that first appeared in 1933. The main body is red to represent the tradition of the Gunners through the years, with bold jacquard stripes running horizontally. The white sleeves feature PUMA’s classic Form Strip, elegantly highlighted with red piping and combined with mesh inserts for breathability. 



Santi Cazorla, Arsenal’s midfield maestro and PUMA player said: “The new kit has a traditional, classic look which is important to Arsenal. I like the way PUMA has embraced our traditional colours with a striking design and materials that really improve comfort and performance. PUMA INTRODUCES FOREVER FASTER

New Brand Platform Signifies Mission to Become the Fastest Sport Brand in the World

KUALA LUMPUR (7 August, 2014): Finally, after much talk and hype, PUMA has formally launched its new global brand platform, Forever Faster, in Berjaya Times Square today.  

PUMA Southeast Asia General Manager, Miguel Andrade, said: “We believe every Malaysian has Forever Faster in them, being ambitious, bold and charismatic in nature. It is not about making Malaysians Forever Faster, but rather bringing the Forever Faster out of them.”

“This is an exciting project that we have been looking forward to for some time now, and cannot wait to commence future consumer interactions,” added Andrade, who also invited members of the public and media to challenge the ‘The Red Wall’, a three-metre high vertical wall that is so imposing.

The idea behind the wall aims to highlight the values that make up Forever Faster, which envelopes around bravery, determination, joy and most of all confidence.

PUMA Malaysia ‘Football Ambassador’ – Malaysian Armed Forces defender K. Reuben, national swimmer Khoo Cai Lin and squash player Low Wee Wern also made their appearance at the launch.

Reuben, well on the road to recovery after undergoing a knee surgery recently, strongly believes Forever Faster has given him the growing confidence to push forward. He said: “It is a timely launch by PUMA. It’s been a huge boost for me in my capacity as footballer and I find Forever Faster a campaign that will tremendously help me get back on trail.”

“I believe this campaign will also help all athletes with determination, bravery and confidence to succeed. Forever Faster will take you towards the right path with all these ingredients of success.” said Reuben.

National and Kelantan goalkeeper Khairul Fahmi Che Mat, 25, better known as ‘Apek’ among Malaysian football fans, and Selangor striker Paulo Rangel, who also add up to PUMA’s growing list of ‘Football Ambassadors’ also view Forever Faster as an opportunity to move forward.

Khairul, who is currently in Tajikistan with national team, aims to get back on stride and be rated as the country’s top goalkeeper after a series of ‘not so inspiring performances’ in recent times. He says: “Forever Faster simply gives you that extra sense of confidence. It’s far different than anything else I have experienced before. I believe PUMA’s new global brand platform of being the best and the first will surely motivate every athlete.”  
  
The 28-year-old Rangel, who was instrumental in Selangor's strong run in the 2014 Malaysia Super League by scoring 16 goals throughout the season and voted Goal’s Best Malaysian Super League Player, is ecstatic with PUMA’s latest innovative campaign to be the fastest and first.
Forever Faster really motivates athletes to be at their best and be at the forefront of everything we strive on. It evolves around our determination to succeed at the highest level which gives us the true meaning of success and happiness,” said the Brazilian as he prepares for the tough challenges ahead with Red Giants in the Malaysia Cup which kicks off next week.

With the mission to become the Fastest Sport Brand in the World, Forever Faster is targeted to a selective group called, ‘Game Changers’ who are active progressive athletes aged 16-24. The platform will be driven through a comprehensive global multi-media marketing campaign that includes a TVC spot, featuring some of the World’s finest sporting personalities. 

Forever Faster embodies athletes who stand out as individuals through both performance and personality.  Jamaican Usain Bolt, widely regarded as the fastest man on Earth as he holds both the 100 metres and 200 metres world records since fully automatic time measurements became mandatory in 1977, features in the Forever Faster TVC with football icons Mario Balotelli, Sergio Agüero, Marta Vieira da Silva; golfers Rickie Fowler and Lexi Thompson; and the Scuderia Ferrari Formula One team. 

The spot also sees these sportsmen and women challenging the conventional - taking risks through determination, bravery, confidence and joy.
