FOR NOW !

THE FAM appeals committee decided to uplift Kelantan coach B.Sathianathan suspension but it is only till the end of the Malaysia Cup final.

After the Malaysia Cup the committee will sit once again to deliberate on the issue and then make a final decision.

The return of Sathianathan will inspire the red warriors to win the Malaysia Cup and but then again his future is not certian, but for now the former Negri Sembilan player would like to focus in winning the prestigious cup.

FIFA President Joseph S. Blatter has been awarded the honorary Order of the Sri Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (SSAP) by Sultan Ahmad Shah, the current Sultan of the state of Pahang in Malaysia.

The SSAP, which carries the title Dato’ Sri, has been conferred on Mr Blatter in conjuction with the ruler’s 80th birthday. Sultan Ahmad was born in 1930 at Mangga Tunggal Palace in Pekan Pahang. His official and royal consort, Tengku Ampuan Afzan binti Tengku Panglima Perang Muhammad, is a member of the Terengganu royal family and he succeeded his late father in 1974.

In a letter addressed to the FIFA President, Dato’ Sri Haji Adnan Bin Haji Yaakob wrote: “On behalf of the Government of the State of Pahang Darul Makmur, I would like to congratulate you on this conferment and I hope you will continue to render excellent service to the Ruler and the State of Pahang Darul Makmur.”

Responding to the honour, Blatter wrote: “It is with honour and pride that I accept the Order of the Sri Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang in conjuction with the 80th birthday of His Royal Highness The Sultan of Pahang. It is with high respect that I accept this award."

Tahniah sekali lagi buat semua warga kerja FA.... M......

  3. From AFC Website

Kuala Lumpur: The most prestigious award of Asian football – the AFC Diamond of Asia – will be conferred on Malaysian Prime Minister Dato' Seri Najib Tun Razak this year.

The AFC Annual Awards function will be held at the Sunway Resort Hotel and Spa on November 24, 2010, here in the Malaysian capital.

This prestigious AFC award is bestowed upon an individual for exemplary contribution towards the development and promotion of football, on and off the field within the Asian continent. This honour is a way for AFC to acknowledge the recipient's sterling services.

The AFC Executive Committee decided to honour Dato' Seri Najib Tun Razak for his continuous support to AFC in his capacity first as the Deputy Prime Minister and later after taking over the highest office in Malaysia on April 3, 2009.

“We (the AFC Executive Committee) felt that Asian football benefited in a great way with the help and support of Dato' Seri Najib Tun Razak,” AFC President Mohamed Bin Hammam said.

“Malaysia is the home of AFC since 1965 and he was instrumental in granting AFC a special status in this country.

“His contribution to develop the game in the continent and his determination to take Asian football to greater heights should be recognised by all the stakeholders of the game.”

The recipient of this accolade enjoys a distinguished position within AFC and ranks only after the AFC Executive Committee in terms of importance within AFC's protocol and hierarchy.

  4. Perhaps the new DISCOM is still a little new and a little naive and were swayed by other forces...this six-month ban is far too heavy...and will be reduced by the Appeals Committee/FAM Exco or via a Royal Pardon :)
