KUALA LUMPUR (16 March 2017): After making
its way across the major cities worldwide, the adidas Tango League is ready to
take over Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as it heads over to Makespace, Quill City Mall
on March 19, 2017.

Similar to the
Bangkok, Paris, London and Berlin editions, this league is not just a series of
events as it promotes community engagement and also focuses on creating the
next generation of brand influencers through social media among other aspects.
Through this
league, football enthusiasts between the ages of 16 to 25 will have a chance to
showcase their skills, increase their social media following and most
importantly win prizes.

Winners will
be rewarded with the cash prize of RM5, 000 while the runners-up take home the
cash prize of RM3, 000.
After each
match, a man of the match (MOTM) or Most Valuable Player (MVP) will be
hand-picked by three pro-footballers, plying their trades in the Malaysia Super
League and are sponsored by adidas Malaysia. The player with the highest number
of MOTM/MVP nominations on that day will be the Tango Pro and gets the
privilege of going home with an adidas boot deal in hand.

The teams competing
in the tournament include top local futsal teams namely Tot United, Red
Galacticos, and One United.
